This dataset shows the spproximate locations of trail markers on the bike trails in Rope Mill Park. Data was created using GPS devices and by georeferencing documents and digitizing on top of them. GPS data was collected using a Thales Mobile Mapper and a Droid X.
Avalanche Trail: Trail markers were created by referencing a georeferenced image of a map.
Explorer Trail:
Loops 1 and 2: Based off of GPS data collected by Thales Mobile Mapper on 2/9/2012 and data from Droid X on 3/7/2012.
Loop 3: Imported from GPX file supplied by the Woodstock Fire Department. The data was collected using the MotionX-GPS application on an iPhone in October 2012.
To show the location of trail markers on the bike trails in Rope Mill Park. The dataset was created at the request of the Woodstock Fire Department to aid in search and rescue operations.
