The data was manually drawn in by analyzing the 2009 and 2008 orthophotography, and drawing polylines in the middle of the sidewalks that are visible. Some data was collected by going out into the field and using the GPS(Thales Mobile Mapper CE with ArcPad 7.1) to collect new sidewalk data, determine the condition of the sidewalks, and also measure sidewalks that could not be measure from the orthophotography. The general accuracy of the data is estimated to be around 0.5 ft. Some sidewalks are recorded where the orthophotography shows none because they are new sidewalks. Show where the city's sidewalks are located and to show what sidewalks need to be repaved.
